In my life, I've been fortunate enough to see some great places and meet some amazing people, most of it while wearing flip-flops! And while I'm thankful for the experiences I've been lucky enough to share, the one thing holding me back from enjoying life to the fullest was the pain in my feet, specifically plantar fasciitis. See, I'm usually on my feet a lot, whether at work or travelling. For th

ose of you who've experienced it, I don't need to describe it. For those of you who haven't, rest assured: it hurts. My whole adult life I've held onto the dream of creating a flip-flop that wouldn't hurt my feet—a flip-flop that would provide support and protection. In fact, I told my wife this very idea on our first date. It's yet to be decided who's crazier, she for marrying me, or me for sticking to my dream. Today, eight years after telling my wife about my dream on our first date, that dream is a reality. After eight years of rigorous research, development, design and testing, I believe I've finally developed the perfect flip-flop. If you don't believe me, ask the aeronautical engineer who helped with the design, ask my wife, or just try on a pair yourself.
