Reflecting on big changes coming forth for me personally and how much courage it takes to make bold moves in life.
It is the settling down into the known that we love and yet when a wave of change, options to expand and explore come our way, we often want to resist the transition, question its validity or poke at it with what appears to be logical stick of questioning. Underneath that questioning lies doubt, the fear, survival instinct. Will we be ok? Will we regret the change? Will we need to go back to what we are used to because the unknown feels scary at first.
Even though the change in career, home, country, culture, perspective will enhance, expand and evolve us, we want to stay comfortable.
I get it. I have been cozied up in my cocoon for a while.
I hope this Sunday post inspires a pause and reflection. What small acts of adventure or change would you like to take on today or this week that you’ve put off for months or years? Lean into it and do the 1%…it just may inspire you to evolve in an unexpected way!
“Letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all. When there’s a big disappointment, we don’t know if that’s the end of the story. It may just be the beginning of a great adventure. Life is like that. We don’t know anything. We call something bad; we call it good. But really we just don’t know.”
