We are asking all of the carp anglers and supporters of catch and release angling to support a proposal to create trophy carp waters in Connecticut. This is a giant step forward in the US carp scene. Included is a link to the page to create a comment. If you would prefer to email the gentleman in charge of the proposal you can email [email protected]
Iain Sorrell and others have worked extremely hard and spent countless hours working with the CT DEEP and we want to give him credit for getting this all put together.
Please share this to get the largest positive response as possible. Even comments from our friends overseas will help!

Here is a a basic outline that you can copy and paste as a comment or email:
"I support the CT Fishery proposals for Amendment to Section 26-112-45 & creation of certain Trophy Carp Waters. Catch & Release angling for Trophy sized Common carp (including mirror and other scale patterns) is growing rapidly and providing significant economic stimulus to businesses in CT. This step by CT DEEP Fisheries creates a far sighted opportunity to help protect trophy carp that will ultimately attract more anglers to CT."
Thank you for your time!
