The kids go back either this week or next. Here's the trap most parents fall into.
You tell yourself you'll start once things calm down.
Then school starts and the schedule fills instantly with everyone else's stuff. Practices. Pickups. The forms. The 8pm text about the project due tomorrow. By October you've got less free time than you did in July, and you never claimed the hour.
The window is real but it's short. The first two weeks of the school year is when the calendar is empty enough that whatever you put there tends to stick.
So decide now, not on the first day:
- Which mornings are yours
- What goes in them
- Who you're telling so it's harder to skip
The hour doesn't appear. You have to claim it before something else does.
What time are you claiming? Tell me and I'll hold you to it.
