Ladies and gentlemen......meet Brooke! This tuff as nails athlete not only finished the Boston Marathon in some of the worst conditions possible - she and her fiancé PR’d the event. SO PROUD of the 3 athletes I coach that ran Boston yesterday. If you haven't already heard....IT WAS THE WORST CONDITIONS EVER IMAGINED for a marathon (38 degrees and howling wind/rain). One was a first time marathon runner (he's only been running just over a year) and finished in 3.43!!!!!! The other 2 rocked it solid - female finish in 3.28 and her boyfriend in 3.30! Incredible results and shows some amazing resilience for sure.

Linden is the first American woman to win in Boston since 1985 and American women nabbed five of the top six spots. American men finished third and fourth behind Japan's Yuki Kawauchi.

Make plans for this Friday and stop by TownLake YMCA for some FUN!!!!! There will be workouts starting at 4 p.m. (spin, run, swim, and yoga).
