Al's Ship of Fools About The Ship

We’re a running group in Austin, Texas that is affiliated with both RunTex and Austin Runners Club (ARC). The group is lead by coach Al Cu***ng.

We have three organized runs per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday). We are an “intermediate” level group. Our average pace for Saturday long runs is probably around 9 minutes per mile…pace range is 6-7 minutes per mile at the fast end up to 11-12 minutes per mile. It is not unusual for shipmates to take home age-group hardware from races both local and out of town/state. We occasionally even have an overall race winner!
