دندان سفید:
روزی از روزگاری بود، یک روز حضرت عیسٰی علیه السلام با چند نفر از همراهان از راهی میگذشت و به جای رسیدند که لاشه سگ مرده یی افتاده بود.
حضرت عیسٰی ع لحظه یی آنجا ایستاد و به همراهان گفت: « درباره این، چی فکر می کنید؟»
همراهان یکدیگر را نگاه کردند و نمی دانستند که منظور حضرت عیسٰی ع چیست. یکی جواب داد: «لاشه سگی است که مرده است.»
یکی گفت: «و چه بوی بدی دارد.»
یکی گفت: «و چه منظره ناراحت کننده یی.»
دیگری گفت: « به آن دست نه باید زد، ممکن است بیماری او سرایت کند.»
دیگری گفت: «وقتی هم زنده بود تنش پاک نبود، حالا هم که مرده.»
دیگری گفت: « و این دهانش که باز مانده است، مثل است که میخواهد پارچه کسی را بگیرد.»
آن وقت حضرت عیسٰی ع فرمود: « این ها هست، اما حیوان با وفایی بود، خوب پاسبانی می کرد و دوست و دشمن را. می شناخت، و چه دندان سفیدی هم دارد…. همه اش بدی ها و زشتی ها را نباید دید با هر چه روبرو میشوید خوبی هایش را هم ببینید.»
White Teeth:
Once upon a time, one day Jesus, peace be upon him, was passing by a road with some of his companions, and they came to a place where the carcass of a dead dog had fallen.
Prophet Jesus stood there for a moment and said to his companions: "What do you think about this?"
The companions looked at each other and did not know what Jesus meant. One answered: "It is the carcass of a dead dog."
"And what a bad smell," said one.
"And what a sad sight," said one.
Another said: "Don't touch it, it may spread his disease."
Another said: "Even when he was alive, the tension was not pure, even now that he is dead."
Another said: "And his mouth is open, as if he wants to grab someone's cloth."
At that time, Jesus said: "There are these things, but the animal was loyal, it guarded well, friend and enemy alike." He knew, and what white teeth he has... You should not see all the bad and ugliness, see the good in everything you come across."
