Opened since 2006, Esquina Tango is a non-profit organization offering dance, health and language classes for all including tango, salsa, samba, salsa aerobics, Spanish and Portuguese. Esquina Tango is also a great place to go for social events, such as tango and salsa nights, movie nights, Flamenco shows and live music! Every welcoming little corner to go with friends or to make new ones. Esquina

Tango also offers free classes for Seniors and children, discount for neighbors, University Students and Seniors.

About the class: Beginner Tango class in Spanish. No experience or partner needed! Step into the world of Argentine tango and experience more than just a dance—it’s a culture. In this fun and welcoming class, you’ll explore the music, the embrace, and the unique connection that makes tango so special. No partner or experience needed. The class is taught in Spanish, inviting you to move, listen, and connect while soaking up the language, rhythm, and soul of tango.

About the movie: A Poet (Spanish: Un poeta) is a 2025 tragicomedy film written, co-produced and directed by Simón Mesa Soto. An international co-production between Colombia, Germany and Sweden, the film stars Ubeimar Rios, Rebeca Andrade, Guillermo Cardona, Allison Correa, Margarita Soto and Humberto Restrepo.
The film had its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on 19 May 2025, where it won the section’s Jury Prize. It was theatrically released in Colombia on 28 August 2025 by OTH. It was selected as the Colombian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
