Fantastic energy on the course at the SPAM Pro-Am! 🏌️‍♂️⛳️✨

The SPAM Pro-Am brought out the absolute best in our golf community, and our team was right in the middle of all the action! From Head Golf Professional Marshall Saxon dialing in a putt on the 18th green and Assistant Professional Kole Carstens holding his finish on the 10th tee box, to club member and PGA Professional Andy Bang launching drives, the talent out there was incredible.

Behind the scenes, Josh Vossler and the rest of our dedicated staff were working hard to keep everything running smoothly (and smiling while doing it!). Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and made this tournament such an unforgettable success for Austin Country Club!

Well, the superintendent certainly had his say, and Mean 18 did not disappoint! From impossible pin placements tucked on steep slopes to downright devious course setups, our golfers were put to the ultimate test this past weekend.

A huge thank you to our grounds crew for crafting such a wildly fun, creative setup, and to all our members who came out with great attitudes and sharp games. Check out some of the action from a truly unforgettable day!

Inspiring future leaders on the fairways with GCSAA’s First Green! 🌱🔬

We were thrilled to host a GCSAA First Green event this past Monday, turning our golf course into a living laboratory for local students! Through hands-on, outdoor learning stations, students explored STEAM concepts while gaining a whole new appreciation for environmental sustainability, soil science, wildlife habitats, water conservation, and turfgrass management.

It was an incredible day watching young minds engage with the science behind course maintenance and discover exciting career paths in the golf industry. A huge thank you to the GCSAA Foundation and our turf management team for making this hands-on learning experience possible. Take a look at some of the highlights from a great day on the course!
