Winterose Training is a Hunter/Jumper equestrian team coached by Cora Treadway-Cook. It is open to riders of all levels in the Tri-Valley. No problem.

Cora has been riding and working with horses for over 25 years now. After years of training and showing she started her career as an apprentice/ assistant trainer in 1998. In 2002 she had the opportunity to take on a few clients of her own and create Winterose Training. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned show rider, Cora will work with you and/or your horse to achieve your goals. Specializin

g in hunter/jumpers means we can work on any aspect of the show ring. This includes hunter, jumpers, hunt seat equitation, and medals. We do many schooling shows, USEF, PCHA, and NorCal "A", "B" and "C" rated shows. School horses and lease options are available for those not quite ready to commit to owning their own. Cora has worked with horses of all kinds. All breeds are accepted. Green broke, changing discipline, or show horse, she accepts them all. At Winterose Training we try and keep things fun. Riding and showing should be as stress free as possible. So we try and get out of the arena and enjoy the "fresh air". Our horses have been to places like Del Valle Park, Mt. Diablo, Brushy Peak and even the ocean. Well rounded horses are happy horses! Looking to sell or buy a horse? Cora can help you find a great new home for your horse if you are selling. But if you are in the market to buy, she can help find that perfect match. We look forward to working with you and/or your horses!

Another fun show in the books! Lots of milestones! This was Krystal and Marquis' first show in 4yrs. Kate made her first hunter appearance on Tucker. Marley made her .90m debut. Valentino and Leo's first show with us! A great time was had by all!!! So proud of my horses and riders! 😀😍👏🏻🏇🐴

Elegant, Fancy, and Sweet. Four Roses "Olive" is a refined 16.1, 2011 Throughbred mare. She is bay with white socks and blaze, super affectionate, and a ton of talent. Has the natural balance, suspension, and movement for dressage, and is brave to the fences. Great eventing, dressage, or hunter/jumper prospect looking to be finished. She's shown successfully at Woodside and Brookside in hunters and jumpers, travels well. She is sensitive, and requires an advanced ride, but is full of nothing but potential. Asking $7500, great home a priority. Lifetime USEF.

Another super fun show completed! Marley and Ben were rockstars! 😀 Mysty and Olive did fabulously as well, especially for it only being their 2nd show. ☺️ So proud!!!

Marley and Ben (McTwist) after their awesome winning jumper round today! Great ending to a fun show! They were reserve champion in both the 2'3" and 2'5" division.
Mysty (Touch of Mystery) and Olive (Four Roses) continued to impress me as the show went on! Tracy and Zamboni (Speakeasy) joined us on Sat and won their 2'5" jumper round. Oh, and it was his first rated show! ☺️ So proud of them all and can't wait for the next show! 😀
