💦 Sweating a lot? Let’s talk HYDRATION.

When you practice in the heat, you’re not just losing water you’re also losing electrolytes through your sweat. 🧂💧

That’s why simply drinking more water isn’t always the whole answer.

Here are a few simple hydration tips for your next hot yoga or fitness class:

💧 Hydrate before class. Don’t wait until you feel thirsty to start drinking.

🧂 Know your electrolytes. Sodium is especially important because it’s one of the main electrolytes lost through sweat. Look at the nutrition label and check how much sodium your electrolyte drink actually contains.

💦 Replace what you sweat out. Everyone’s sweat rate is different. Your body size, workout intensity, time in the heat and how much you sweat all matter.

⚖️ More isn’t always better. Drinking excessive amounts of plain water can dilute your blood sodium. The goal is balanced hydration, not simply drinking as much as possible.

✨ And hydration is personal. At PURE, we offer hydration testing at the studio to help you better understand your individual hydration needs.

So before your next heated class, ask yourself:

Am I hydrating enough? Am I replacing electrolytes? Do I know what MY body needs?
