The Guadalupe is real low so many people who typically go there are going to the Comal. If you go to the Comal on the weekends, be sure to go early to avoid those ridiculous afternoon crowds. Just sayin and not for nothin.

Jacobs Well is closed for swimming because of low spring flows and very hot temperatures.

If you are planning on tubing the Guadalupe you need to know flows are only at 65 cfs and typical flows for this time of year are around 250 cfs. Contact tube outfitters to see if you will have to walk the tubes.

The Comal is flowing a little low, but still fine for tubing. Try to go during the week to beat the crowds. Have fun.

FYI — doesn’t look like Hamilton Pool is going to open back up for swimming anytime soon. There have been incidents of rocks falling from the overhang into the pool and that is why it is closed. Dammit

Reserve a space at your favorite swimming hole or you might lose out for all summer. Just sayin.

It will be swimming hole season soon. Some of the best ones require reservations such as Hamilton Pool, Blue Hole, and Jacobs Well. Save a spot soon to be sure you can go when you want to.
