2. Has the league thought about racing in the fall?
3. Can you race TMBRA and other races in your NICA jersey?

We have made the difficult decision to cancel both scheduled races for this weekend.

The weather forecast calls for steady rain across the state through Saturday and into Saturday night.

We are certainly disappointed to cancel another race, but rider safety and venue stewardship are our priorities. Fortunately, our schedule was intentionally built with unpredictable Texas weather in mind. We will use our previously scheduled April rain date. Additionally, the Texas League calendar includes one more race than other NICA leagues, and we still have five races remaining for each conference — consistent with other leagues across the country.

If inclement weather impacts a future single-conference race, we will invite that conference to join the other conference’s event whenever possible.

We appreciate your flexibility, positivity, and commitment to the season. We know cancellations are frustrating, and we’re looking forward to getting everyone back on the trails soon.

🌲🌲Join us for Rock the Pines with a Twist!

🔥🏁For the first time ever, TX NICA and the DFW Series are teaming up to turn a NICA race weekend into something even bigger: a place where the whole family can ride, race, and cheer each other on.

With junior, student, and adult categories all rolling through the same forest, Rock the Pines becomes a true community ride—kids, teens, parents, and plenty of cowbells all in one place. Same pine trees, more start lines, and way more high-fives.

DFW Series will host junior (4th grade and below) and adult races on Saturday.

NICA will host student races on Sunday.

Aloha at Troy - Postponed!

We have made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s race at the Sacket Family Ranch. We spoke with the venue owners this evening, and they let us know that most of their trails are still under snow and ice. Where it is melting, there is standing water and deep mud. There’s not enough sun and rain in the forecast for the trails to be ready by this weekend. This, combined with the low weekend temperatures has made it clear that we need to reschedule.

Stay tuned for more details and save the date for our previously scheduled rain date, April 11-12.

Thank you so much for your understanding and stay warm this weekend.
