Heartbroken doesn’t begin to describe how I feel writing this, but this going to be the last 24hours for Empower (for now). Dana is going to lead one last class at 7:30am tomorrow, and we’ll say our goodbyes

We’ve come to an agreement with our landlords that our current space and our vision for what we aim to offer are not the best fits for one another and that it’s time to walkaway and regroup
•
I’ll be liquidating some assets and selling some equipment, and we’ll be providing refunds for you guys over the coming week or so. It’s a very manual process with Wix, so bear with us, but we’ll share a form shortly via email newsletter and begin processing refunds this weekend after we’re done moving out. We’ll also let you know what equipment is available in case you want to upgrade your home gym

I’m not sure what’s next for us, but if you know of a space that would want to take us in, in a smaller role, don’t hesitate to let us know

My hope is that we were able to positively affect our community’s relationship with exercise and one’s self, and call attention to just how toxic diet culture can be
•
It was a special time in my life offering these classes and spending time with so many amazing people - So thank you from the bottom of my heart! Obe and I are sure going to miss seeing you!
