Anderson Varsity Lady Trojans and McCallum Knights tied 8-8 on Wednesday.
McCallum Knights got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Zoe Baumer singled down the right field line.
Anderson Varsity Lady Trojans tied the game in the top of the second thanks to an error, and a walk by Taitym Eaton.
Anderson Varsity Lady Trojans captured the lead, 7-3, in the top of the third when Eliana Soriano singled, scoring one run, Bailey Coggin hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.
McCallum Knights tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a double by Zoe Baumer, a single by Sela Galarza, a single by Nichelle Floyd, and an error.
Anderson Varsity Lady Trojans took the lead in the top of the fourth. Eliana Soriano singled, scoring one run, to give Anderson Varsity Lady Trojans the lead, 8-7.
Alianna Garza singled to center field following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped McCallum Knights tie the game at eight in the bottom of the fourth.
Brinkly Eaton started in the circle for Anderson Varsity Lady Trojans. The pitcher surrendered one hit and three runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking two.
