It was such a joy to lead an educational workshop and breathwork reset at the 2025 Texas Conference on Ending Homelessness over the last two days 🥹

Thursday we had peer practice, guiding each other through somatic awareness check-ins and exploring a daily breathwork session together.

Today we got to dive a little deeper with a somatic breathwork reset, an opportunity to fully receive before closing out the conference and heading back home all over the state.

It was such a gift to witness so many space holders carve out time for themselves and experience the power of nervous system regulation firsthand.

Truly grateful to and their team for the opportunity to hold space and share this powerful work! Excited to witness how these tools continue to expand their mission and impact all across the state of Texas 🌬️

Stumbled across something profound, and I'm shook, y'all 😳

I recently came across a podcast from .business.savage and discussing how to break free from addiction and numbing behaviors, and honestly, it felt like a bucket of cold water to the face. Not because it was shocking, but because it was so refreshing and, well, aptly timed 💫🤪

It made me see the power of “being” in a whole new light. Instead of forcing habits and schedules that don’t work for me, I've begun to embrace the power of flowing with what feels good to me.

It's become all about asking myself, “What am I moving towards?” and “What am I running away from?”

🌀 Am I focusing on my problems or my solutions?
🌀 Am I focusing on numbing or focusing how I want to feel and what it will take to get me there?
🌀 Am I making this decision out of love or out of fear?

Translating that to my life means prioritizing choices that align directly with my core values and goals, letting go of distractions, and focusing on what truly matters. ✨

It's a more aligned, focused, and genuinely more attuned way to move through life.

I am so grateful for these two beautiful humans sharing their experience, wisdom, and knowledge 🙏💖

As I get caught up on things and post February's quote of the month on the last day of February (😅), I'd like to leave you with this little reminder:

"Be patient with yourself. Nothing in nature blooms all year."

If it is a season of winter, dive deep into rest.

Go into the darkness. Feel the warmth of the soil.

Make peace with your shadow.

And when that light finally penetrates the darkness and your seedlings start to sprout 🌱 remember:

Life starts in darkness and is guided towards the light,

Trust the process ✨
