Pasion Latina Dance Company Dance Company Lisa Vargas has been dancing for over two decades, having started as soon as she could walk.

Her passion for dance has led her to specialize in a wide variety of styles, including salsa, bachata, country, swing, and west coast swing. Her skills in these areas have earned her numerous accolades and opportunities to perform and teach all over the world. In addition to her personal dance pursuits, Lisa also runs three dance companies, which have helped to cultivate a thriving dance community

in her local area. Her leadership and expertise have been instrumental in the success of these teams, and she continues to work tirelessly to promote dance as an art form and a way of life. Some of Lisa's biggest accomplishments in dance include placing second in the US Open with her old west coast swing team, as well as traveling and teaching all over the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. Her dedication to dance and her ability to inspire and teach others have made her a beloved figure in the dance world, and she shows no signs of slowing down.

Join us at Rhythm House ATX on Saturday, September 13th for an afternoon of Salsa, movement, technique, and flavor with Johan & Alyssa!

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your solo dancing or dive deeper into the roots and movement that influence Salsa, these workshops are a great opportunity to learn, challenge yourself, and add more depth to your dancing.

✨ 1:00 PM — Salsa On2 Shines
Work on footwork, timing, musicality, styling, and confidence in your solo dancing.

🔥 2:00 PM — Afro-Cuban Movement
Explore Afro-Cuban movement, body mechanics, rhythm, and foundational movement that connects back to the cultural roots of Salsa.

$30 per workshop
