To the Austin 49ers family, it is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of our dear friend, Alex Morales on June 20th after a private battle with cancer. Alex suffered an aneurysm while on vacation last month and was flown back to Austin and never made it out of the hospital. I heard he fought hard until the end. We did not know he was ill, so this comes as a complete shock. Alex has been a great 49er fan and member of our club for the last decade. Loved his food and beer and was quite the traveler, especially on 49er road games. Had some great memories with him. For those that knew him, we do not yet know when or what services will be in the coming week, but I will update you guys when I get the info. R.I.P Alex and we will miss you ! Let's win the big one finally this year ! ✍🏈

High risk but high reward. Ended up being cheaper than Aiyuk would have been and is a future hall of Famer. He's old but let's see if he can stay on the field. Welcome Mike Evans !

An unlikely playoff year has now come to a close. Unbelievable it got to this point when any other team would have struggled to win any games with plain ol backups. I want to thank Riviere Austin for coming through mid-season after our property was sold, and turning it back into an ultimate gameday experience for our fans. Just wait until next season ! And as always, I want to thank all of our Austin Faithful for sticking with us this season while we moved and built up our new location. You guys are the reason we do this every year and it is much appreciated. Despite the ups and downs this season, we all had a great time every week and we look forward to even being bigger than ever next season. Thank you again for your continued support and we will be back in September. Stay tuned for updates this year. Go Niners !!

The best part of 49er football season are the friends and faithful who we share the chaos with ! Thank you all for another great party and turnout on Saturday night. We knew these playoffs were going to be a near impossible feat. 🙁
