The Treasure Dash

Big thank you to everyone who participated in our two treasure dashes this past Saturday! Groups and families followed clues around San Antonio and Boerne, interacted with “treasure informants” at parks, searched for real sunken ship treasure, and earned some ice cream at the end. The dashes took folks to some fascinating places, including a lesser-known 300-year-old arched Spanish aqueduct that is the only one of its kind in all of the US. Thank you to everyone, and we’re coming back to Austin in May for our next dash!

This is real, certified sunken shipwreck treasure that sat at the bottom of the ocean for over 200 years, and we’ve hid it somewhere in San Antonio. Sam Bass’s gold has been found! Our Austin Sphinx Dash and Advanced Dash this past weekend were a blast. A big congrats to the two teams that found the treasure, and a huge shout out to everyone who participated in this adventure. Here’s a few pictures from the dashes, which involved finding Sam Bass’s original tombstone and hiking to some lesser-known dinosaur tracks.
