Calling all 3rd–6th grade boys and girls! NMYA Basketball registration is open.

Early Bird Special: Register THIS WEEK for just $90! Regular registration is $100.

Our rec season runs January 9–February 27, with Saturday games and no practices during the holidays.

We’re also putting together competitive tournament teams for players who want more basketball and an extra challenge. And yes, players can participate in both rec and competitive basketball! Competitive teams will require tryouts. Interested? Contact Tyler O’Dell ASAP at (503) 999-7941.

But we need more than players...we need coaches and volunteers, too. If you can help coach, coordinate, or set up and take down the gym on game days, we would LOVE to have you.

WOW! Cheer registration has been open for ONE DAY and you guys showed up! 👏

Thanks to an amazing NEW volunteer stepping up to coach, we are splitting K/1 into two separate teams, which means MORE SPOTS are now open!

Current availability:
📣 Kindergarten: 10 spots open
📣 1st Grade: 9 spots open
📣 2nd/3rd Grade: 6 spots open
📣 4th/5th Grade: FULL, waitlist open

BUT, I would love to split 4th/5th too!

I already have coaches ready to go for a 4th grade team and two amazing assistants lined up for a 5th grade team. I just need ONE HEAD COACH for 5th grade.

If I can find that person, I can split 4th/5th into separate teams and open up more spots!

Are you interested in NMYA COMPETITIVE BASKETBALL?🏀

We’re hoping to form competitive tournament teams for 4th/5th grade and 6th/7th grade players.

This is different from our regular NMYA rec league. Competitive teams will require tryouts, and selected players will play in tournaments throughout the winter.

And YES — we want these players to play both! Competitive basketball is an additional opportunity for kids who want more basketball while still being part of our regular rec league.

📅 Tournament Schedule
• December 5–6
• December 12–13
• January 9–10
• January 23–24
• February 6–7
• February 20–21

All December–February tournaments will be in the Portland metro area.

🏆 March 5–7 — State Competition in Bend
This is the same state tournament we participated in last year. Additional cost applies if the team qualifies.

💰 Competitive team cost: $325
Players will keep their jerseys!
