Evening Facebook fam,
Wanted to ask for a little help/favor from the masses. So I have an idea to help friends and families just a little bit this back to school season. I’m going out on a limb to ask for some advice on getting sports equipment (primarily cleats) to start with, to athletes looking to compete this upcoming fall season. I’m willing to put the work and time in to pickup. Also, to receive donations of cleats at a minimal cost. I would like to then charge $10 or below for everything. The thought behind the price is to remove the high dollar cost and pass on the savings to the families. If they’re not able to make that work, then I’ll make it work. This gives me the flexibility to purchase not so common sizes of shoes or gear for the next kid.
See, if we can encourage kids of maybe 4th grade or higher to compete in team sports. They have the potential to further their confidence, character, athletic abilities, self esteem and even their personal education investments. In return their percentage of becoming great individuals rises.
I’m looking to be pretty aggressive with gathering as many cleats as possible before Saturday. Saturday I will setup a table at my brother’s East Aurora HS Class of 2004 Garage sale fundraiser at Third ward from 11-4pm. If your kid needs cleats please PM me directly or let me know on here. Also, what size and sport. We’ll make it happen.
Items I’d like to get quickly: Football cleats, soccer cleats, running shoes for Cross Country, volleyball/basketball shoes, fall baseball related gear and my favorite WRESTLING shoes!!!
The sooner I get stuff, the sooner I can power wash it clean.
