During Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re highlighting modalities like salt “halo” therapy and red light therapy that are being explored for their ability to support relaxation, stress reduction, nervous system regulation, sleep, and overall wellbeing.
Salt therapy creates a quiet space to breath slowly, disconnect from overstimulation, and supports deeper relaxation. Red light therapy has been studied for its potential impact on mood, recovery, inflammation, and energy regulation - all of which can influence how we feel mentally and physically.
These treatments aren’t replacements for mental health care, but they can become part of a more supportive wellness routine, especially when combined.
Mental wellness can be built through small habits practiced over time. Sometimes that starts with giving yourself an hour to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself.
