Open since 1994, Asian Sun is the fastest growing martial arts school in the Akron/Cleveland area. About The Asian Sun Martial Arts System:

Asian Sun Training Center teaches a combination of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Kung-Fu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Grappling. It is a complete, well-rounded system that utilizes a combination of techniques, including striking and grappling, to formulate the ultimate

self defense system. Tae Kwon Do is the Olympic Sport, provides the world's best kicking techniques and footwork around

Karate - Provides strong fundamental blocking and upper body striking techniques

Kung Fu - Provides fluency, making multiple techniques flow together

Kickboxing - Provides effective hand, knee, elbow, and foot self defense techniques

Grappling - Provides the techniques to escape holds and grabs using throws and joint locks. The programs at Asian Sun includes the most exciting and beneficial aspects of the Martial Arts. No two classes are exactly alike. You will learn a variety of skills and drills making training fun and exciting, challenging, but not overwhelming. The Asian Sun training curriculum is in compliance with and exceeds the requirements for Tae Kwon Do - Song Moo Kwan - Jin Bo Ryu Lineage

Our Leadership Class had a blast today learning one of the most important instructor skills... how to properly tie a martial arts belt! 🥋

After learning the correct technique, students put their skills to the test in a fun belt tying competition. There was plenty of excitement, teamwork, and friendly competition as everyone worked to show off their new skills.

Leadership Class is designed for students who want to take their training to the next level. Members learn valuable teaching skills, build confidence, develop leadership abilities, and gain hands on experience that prepares them to become future instructors.

If your child dreams of helping others, leading by example, and one day becoming an instructor, Leadership Class is the perfect next step.

This week's Student of the Week is Sloane!

Sloane loves coming to class and is always excited to learn new things. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm make every class more fun for everyone around her.

No matter what challenge is in front of her, she approaches it with a smile and gives her best effort.
One thing we know for sure is that Sloane absolutely loves our Ninja Nights! Whether she's playing games, spending time with friends, or enjoying all the fun activities, she always brings great energy and excitement.

3 Hours of Testing Curriculum Then Test For Your Next Belt!

If you've missed a belt test in 2026, or just love forms and training and want to get ahead faster, this camp is for you! We will work intensively on your testing requirements, fix mechanics, and test to your next rank. Because this camp is all about learning only requirements, it is equal to approximately 12 classes. We will even teach you the first part of your next requirements. The cost of the camp is $159 and it includes your color belt or step test fee.

Join us for our Belt Testing Mini Camp on July 18th from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with belt testing beginning at 2:00 PM!

This camp is perfect for students who:

Our Young Explorers program tested today, and we couldn't be more proud of each and every one of them! They showed great focus, confidence, and determination while demonstrating all the skills they have been working so hard to learn.

Testing can be challenging, but these students rose to the occasion and gave their very best effort. Their hard work and positive attitudes continue to impress us every day.

What an incredible day at Asian Sun! 🩷🥋

Today we hosted our very first Women’s Seminar, led by the amazing Master Gardziola.

We are so grateful for the positive impact Master Gardziola has on her students and the example she sets for women and girls throughout our schools!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today! We hope you left feeling empowered, motivated, and inspired. It was amazing to see so many incredible women training together!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing parents for allowing your children to join us for Ninja Night! 🥷🎉

We had an absolute blast spending the evening with everyone. From games and activities to pizza, movies, and nonstop fun, the energy and excitement made it a night to remember!

We are grateful for the trust you place in us and for being such an important part of our Asian Sun family. Seeing all the smiles, laughter, and friendships made throughout the night is what makes events like these so special.
