The Augusta Beavers Softball Team and Augusta Project K9 are teaming up for a Raffle & Meal Fundraiser! 🎟️🍽️

Your support will help send our softball team to Florida while also supporting Project K9 and our local law enforcement and school K9s. 💜

Our season and trip to the Legion State tournament came to an end this morning with a loss to Fall Creek. I can't say enough about our girls and their families for committing to softball this weekend. The rain on Friday completely flipped our bracket and brought 3 early mornings and 2 late nights for us. Congrats to Breleigh Bruder and Aubree O'Brien on being selected to the State Legion All Tournament team. And last, but not least, we were selected for the tournaments Sportsmanship award. Nobody spent more time at the ballpark this weekend and our girls and fans certainly earned this award.

Thanks to all of our fans for following along on another great season. Thanks again to our friends from Legion Post 291 for giving us the opportunity to play ball this summer.

We were fortunate to play 25 games this summer and finish 3rd at State. I'm proud of these girls.

After a 14 hour day at the ballpark, we wrapped up the evening by beating Viroqua 9-3. We've advanced to Championship Sunday as one of the final 3. We'll play Fall Creek at 10am.

It took a 6 run 4th inning, but we were able to knock off Wittenberg-Birnamwood with a final score of 8-4. We'll play at 8pm now. We will play the winner of Boyceville and Viroqua, which is starting shortly.

Game 2 came down to the final play. Marathon scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th to walk it off. Final score Marathon 5 - Augusta 4. Next up: WB Chargers at 2pm. Win and play at 8. Now it's lose and it's over.

Update: we will try and move the game up to 5:15 depending on the rain.

We won game 1, 3-0. Game 2 is scheduled for 6pm and we'll play Marathon. Opening ceremony is starting at 2. We're monitoring the rain and will update if anything changes. Don't forget to watch the live stream.

Post 291 opens the Wisconsin American Legion State Tournament tomorrow at 10:00 AM against Viroqua at The MARC Complex in Merrill.

Bring the purple and cheer loud from the stands! 💜

Update to admission fee. They are just going to do weekend passes for $10 instead of the daily pass.

Also, the opening ceremony will take place on Field 1 between 1:30-2:00 tomorrow (Friday)
