Alright HAWKS and Fans we are back in action! The Georgia Hawks Just host the 2012 SEPVA /Family Y Augusta Tournament of Champion! Where the HAWKS hosted Atlanta Shepherd, Charleston Hurricanes, and University of Auburn Tigers. Our Hawks came on top winning all 3 games and kept home the Championship Trophy with great team work effort.
The tournament placement ended like this:
1. Georgia Hawks 3-0
2. Charleston Hurricanes 2-1
3. Univ. of Auburn Tigers 1-2
4. Atlanta Shepherd 0-3

We will like to also thank Jeanette Thompson for making the connections and bringing JAKE YOUNG from NEWS 12 to the game, Joey Bennett for getting our team water bottles donation from Chain Reaction, John Paul Richardson for the after game dinner, the Goldberg Brothers - Brandy Nye - Lilliam Perez- Javier Rodriguez and friends for helping with scoring and donation tables! You all went above and beyond to make this first home game a reality and a success!

Georgia Hawks Wheelchair Basketball won their first two games vs the Augusta Bulldogs first game 45-33 and the second game 72-43! There was a really big turn out and it was a great event for both Teams and fans! News 12 was covering the game and will air a story tomorrow monday. We want to thank SEPVA, the Family Y, the Augusta Bulldogs (for good sportsmanship and bringing the shot clocks), Pam Wooten Dancers and all the volunteers that made this first game a great success!
