Super EXCITED about this!!! We've worked hard this year in contacts with some of the original creators and the last to host The famous Watermelon Classic from ORA in Aiken, Sc. & coordinated it with one of the best RD in the business Shon Harding to run a great program/event for everyone. This was one of the first big races I attended as a teenager and was hooked on racing ever since. Great memories & Great times!! Super excited to bring this back and honor a great event from the past!

With the permission from the previous owner of this event, we at Toy Car Time .com are proud to announce that the OFFICIAL "WATERMELON CLASSIC" is coming back!
For those who remember this was one of the Southeast best yearly events from the late 90's into the 2000's, it became one of biggest staple outdoor events around and we are pleased to say we are bringing it to AUGUSTA RC RACEWAY! Possibly the closest track to the original site of Atomic Raceway!
The date will be AUG 7th-9th for the event and we will open signups on FEB 1st
The event will be both 1/10 and 1/8 nitro and electric, just like it was in the late 90's early 2000's
