Dear Racers and Supporters of Power to Paddle Classic,
REMINDER POST - previously posted August 15

We as a team of directors, have determined that this year’s race will best be postponed until October of 2025. As a new race, with many factors to weigh in, bringing the best paddlers and optimal prize purses, we feel like we need additional sponsors and support to make it the best race possible. This will allow you to confidently register for this race, knowing that it will be worth every cent, second, and effort you put into attending. This is NOT a cancellation, simply a postponement. Please continue to watch for updates as we bring on MORE sponsors, racers, and clinics of validity and value! We will also open registration up again in January of 2025, with a hugely discounted registration fee for a very short window.

Thanks for ALL the interest in this year’s race and we were honored that YOU were excited to see a race coming to our beautiful central United States National Park’s venue at Stockton Lake, Missouri.

We look forward to seeing you ALL next year!

Hybrid Race Workshop with Maddi Leblanc
Advanced SUP Race Training

Join professional Canadian SUP athlete Maddi Leblanc to enhance your SUP racing skills to the next level! In this hybrid three hour workshop we will cover a wide range of topics from managing your heart rate levels, the importance of training in designated zones, nutrition for athletes as well as the differences in fueling performance for male & female athletes, and more!
The cost is $150 for the full three hours,
or $75 for half of the workshop (either on the water OR just in the classroom).

I LOVE how Ethan set out immediately with a goal of becoming a BETTER paddler just 6 short years ago, and now he’s on the verge of becoming one of the best in the US! How?!? Because he’s reached out to ALL the best, and learned from them! Now he’s sharing all this with us! This amazing Stockton Lake quarry (aka “Party Cove”) is where many locals like to tuck in from the winds and boat elements to sit, relax, and sometimes take a flying leap off the cliffs into the crystal clear lake waters.

We spent the weekend at Stockton’s Crabtree Cove filming some “sneak peeks” of the launch location and race routes for the inaugural race.
This is the stunning view of our sprints and technicals. And what a great cliff spot for the spectators as well! They will have the BEST seat in the house. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Unless you’re ON the water! 💦😎

Heading to the Chamber of Commerce Annual dinner. Looking forward to meeting all the people of Stockton and their businesses. What amazing support we have already been given, just from word of mouth.
