I would like to thank all the members & visitors at our 60th anniversary. We got to see old faces and new that hopefully will stay with us. I as well as the other officers would like to thank those who helped get ready for this.

Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Gold Star Tribute Wall, on display through Monday and free to the public at Augusta Elks #964

Memorial Day began as a day of remembrance, a time to honor those who had made the ultimate sacrifice. The holiday has evolved to commemorate all U.S. military personnel who have died in service, but the core message remains the same: we owe a debt of gratitude to those who have fought and died for our freedoms.

We hope you take some time to reflect this weekend, to remember the men and women who lives were lost defending our freedoms.

The GoldStars Tribute Wall TM, exists to Honor the 7200 fallen while serving in the United States military from the beginning of the Gulf War through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and is on display at the Augusta Elks Lodge #964 all weekend.

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
7 AM - 10 PM today and tomorrow.

At long last, with the adjusted guidelines allowed by the Governor, the executive committee has scheduled a club meeting. This meeting (although two months late) will conclude the business year of 2019. It will be held on June 15th at 7:00 pm, at the club.

Key topics of discussion for this meeting will be the nomination of officers for the next business year (2020-2021), bylaw change proposals and allocation of funds for our lead remediation program. I hope you will consider joining us and look forward to seeing you!

Sincerely,
Mark Berlinger
CCR&PC President
