GOOD MORNING, VILLAGERS AND WORLD...

COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO...

This rooster must not have checked the weather report this morning... Because while the rest of us were listening to the rain hit the roof... he was already outside sounding off like the neighborhood supervisor... Rain... clouds... wind... none of it mattered... He clocked in early and started his morning announcements anyway...

As I listened to him this morning... I thought about how life sometimes brings storms we never asked for... Yet God has a way of using the very thing that was meant to break us to build us...

What was meant to break you... God can transform...

What was meant to discourage you... God can strengthen...

What was meant to stop you... God can redirect...

Sometimes the storm is not punishment... Sometimes it is preparation...

Sometimes the detour is not denial... It is divine direction...

Today we cover the land with peace... protection... and favor...

We cover our children as they travel... learn... work... grow... and pursue their purpose...

We cover the sick... the shut-ins... the elderly... the grieving... and every person carrying a burden that feels heavier than words...

May healing find them...

May comfort surround them...

May strength uphold them...

May God's peace rest over every home represented here today...

No matter what the forecast says... Remember that God is still working behind the scenes...

The storm is temporary...

The lesson is valuable...

The testimony is coming...

Walk in faith...

Walk in purpose...

Walk in gratitude...

And never forget...

GOOD MORNING, Villagers and World...

Cock-a-doodle-doo...** The rooster has done his do... The coffee is brewing... And by the Grace of God, we have been given another opportunity to rise... breathe... grow... and walk in purpose...

As we begin this new day... let us pause for a moment and cover the land in prayer...

May God place His hand of protection over our communities... our neighborhoods... our schools... our workplaces... and every road traveled today...

We lift up our children... grandchildren... nieces... nephews... and future generations...

May they be guided by wisdom... protected from harm... and surrounded by people who encourage them to become the very best version of themselves...

We pray for our elderly... our caregivers... our First Responders... our Military... our Healthcare Workers... and those quietly carrying burdens that no one else can see...

May strength find the weary... peace find the troubled... and hope find those who feel lost...

This Morning... Remember...

Sometimes the heart remembers what the eyes can no longer see...

Truth does not always arrive with noise... Sometimes it comes as a whisper... a memory... a prayer... or the gentle nudge of a mother's love still living within us...

The soul recognizes truth long before the world can explain it...

Good Morning Villagers and World...

Cock-a-doodle-doo... 🐓

The rooster has already made his morning announcement, called roll, and handled his business. Truth be told, I don't know exactly what little dude was up to this morning because I have been absolutely worn out. Mentally, physically, and spiritually, I have been tired. Sometimes life will have you running on fumes, and this morning, I'm just being honest about where I am.

Yesterday was full of grandbaby shenanigans, birthday celebrations, curbside adventures, family time, and making memories. We celebrated a very special first birthday, and my heart is full of gratitude for those precious moments.

Today is a slower day. A day to breathe, regroup, prepare for morning service, and enjoy a little peace before another week begins. For me, it's coffee, schoolwork, prayer, reflection, and pushing toward the finish line. This is my last full week of school, and next week will bring another chapter to a close. By God's grace, we're almost there.

As always, I cover the land in prayer. I cover our children, our families, our elderly, our first responders, our military, those battling illness, those facing grief, those carrying burdens no one else can see, and those simply trying to make it through another day.

Today, I thank Jehovah Nissi for His mercy, His grace, His protection, His provisions, and His abundance. I thank Him for the blessings we see and the ones working behind the scenes that we don't even know about yet.

Whether you're headed to church, spending time with family, catching up on rest, or simply trying to make it through the day, remember to give yourself a little grace. Monday will come soon enough. Today is about being thankful for the gift of today.

So from me, my coffee cup, and that rooster who never misses an opportunity to be heard...

GOOD MORNING Villagers & World... Happy Saturday... ☀️🌎🐓

The rooster has already handled his business this morning, and I believe he was determined to make sure everybody in the village was awake before sunrise...

Prayers have already been sent across the land this morning for our children, our families, our elderly, our sick and shut-in, our first responders, our military, those working today, those searching for peace, and those carrying burdens that nobody else can see...

And let's never forget our ordinary yet extraordinary people among us... the quiet superheroes who take time out of their day to show kindness, lend a helping hand, encourage a stranger, check on a neighbor, feed someone in need, or simply make the world a little brighter through compassion and love. Your acts of kindness matter more than you know... ❤️

Today is a special day in our family...

Happy Birthday to my twin girls... 🎂🎂❤️

And somehow Amazon always finds a way into the conversation...

Curbside orders are calling my name this morning, and somewhere in between shopping, errands, responsibilities, schoolwork, and life, the day is already moving...

But before we get caught up in the hustle and bustle, here's a gentle reminder...

Don't become so focused on your responsibilities that you forget to take care of yourself.

Growth isn't always found in the big moments.

Sometimes growth looks like getting up when you don't feel like it...
Sometimes growth looks like setting healthy boundaries...
Sometimes growth looks like choosing peace over chaos...
Sometimes growth looks like letting go of what no longer serves your purpose...
And sometimes growth simply looks like giving yourself permission to rest.

As you move through this Saturday, be intentional with your time, protective of your peace, and patient with your progress.

Remember...

God never allows pain without purpose.

Sometimes the very pain we pray to escape becomes the pathway that reveals our strength, deepens our faith, and transforms our story.

Keep believing...
Keep growing...
Keep healing...
Keep becoming...

God is good all the time...
And all the time, God is good...

Good Morning Villagers and World...

Cock-a-doodle-doo!!!

The rooster and I were up at the same time this morning. He was over there doing what he does best, making all kinds of noise. I found myself looking out the window thinking, "Dude, chill out. It's Friday!" But then again, he's right. It's time to get up, get moving, and get this day started.

Happy Friday, Villagers and World!

Prayers have already been sent across the land this morning. As always, I continue to cover our children, our families, our communities, and the many situations that affect us every day. There is so much happening throughout this world that I couldn't possibly name it all. The list is long, and the needs are many. So this morning, I simply lift them all in prayer.

Today, however, my heart is especially with the mothers.

This Friday morning is dedicated to the mothers who still breathe.

To every mother who has lost a son, a daughter, or a child whose memory continues to live within her heart, I honor you.

We carry love and loss in the same heart. Yet somehow, by God's grace, we continue to rise, continue to love, continue to believe, and continue to breathe.

Your strength is not found in forgetting.
Your strength is found in continuing.

As a mother who understands this journey, I dedicate this morning to the mothers who still breathe...

Because I am one.

May today bring peace to your heart, strength to your spirit, and comfort to your soul.

Well, once again this morning, we are up before the rooster has decided to make all that fuss and ruckus... It is quiet around here... Not a peep... Not a crow... Him and those hens must still be resting because they have not started their morning meeting yet...

Prayer has already been sent up... Gratitude has already been spoken... And today is another opportunity to embrace the journey that has been placed before us...

As we move through this Thursday, let us remember...

"Healing does not erase the storm... It teaches the soul how to stand in the rain, embrace the journey, and still become..."
