Happy Birthday to Me... Another Season of Life. 🤍🕊️

Today, I glorify Jehovah Rapha, my Healer, for the divine grace of witnessing another season of life. I am grateful for every breath, every lesson, every battle survived, and every child I am still blessed to embrace on this side of eternity.

Yet, within my gratitude exists a sacred sorrow that time has never silenced. There is a phone call my heart will forever anticipate, even though my soul knows it will never come. Thirty years of carrying, nurturing, loving, and witnessing a life cannot be erased by the permanence of absence.

Only a heart acquainted with profound loss can understand how celebration and sorrow can coexist without diminishing one another.

I have forgiven much, yet I am still learning to release the anger that grief has left behind. My faith remains unshaken, even when my emotions are unsettled. I am both a testimony of God's sustaining grace and a woman still undergoing healing.

So today, I do not ask for a life untouched by sorrow. I ask for peace that transcends it, wisdom that transforms it, and the strength to continue living without allowing what I have lost to overshadow what I am still blessed to have.

Happy Birthday to Me... Still standing, still evolving, still healing, and forever grateful. 🤍
