Congratulations to our newest UMAD Blackbelts!! Ranging from age 9 - 18 years old, these students went through a physical fitness test including a 1-mile run, three and a half hours of formal testing and had their BlackBelt Extravaganza this past weekend🎊

I would like to thank their families for unwavering support and trusting our academy. Also the candidates putting in the hard work, earning a black belt is not meant to be easy but those who do have learned not only realistic combat, martial arts techniques but life skills that will last a lifetime. 💯

This is my last group promoting before I reach Mastery. 14 students in 20 years, below are there ranks of the most recent test and how long they've been training 🥋

We had a wonderful time at CMAO! It ran super efficiently as always & my team was very happy with their performance🏆Sensei Crosby was promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt in TCT Sport Karate⭐⭐⭐ He is humbled and thankful of Master Brian Pena & The Karate Dojo 🙏🏽

It was sad to know that this will be the last one for a while but totally understanding as it takes a army to run a tournament successfully. We look forward to the return one day and hope that we can also have our own tournament soon🏯

Today marks 20 years that Sensei has been teaching on hid own! Going from Martial Arts America, to Daycares/Private schools, RCBOE /CCBOE, the US Army, and finally our own studio for the past 8 years. We are thankful for all out supporters, mentors and friends! Here's to the next chapter in our story and we hope you all are along for the ride! Next stop the ITC in Las Vegas!

Today the world lost an icon, Grandmaster Chuck Norris has passed away at 86. Our beloved Grandmaster is not only a inspiration to martial artists but to so many people around the world. He was a Christian, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Humanitarian, Friend to so many people, a National Treasure and so much more.

Grand Master Norris was more than our founder to me, he was the male figure I've tried to model my life around and like a God Father. We shared intimate moments of conversation, he give me inspirational words for our school, I've been able to speak at our Gala with Grandmasters blessing and he watched me perform numerous times.

Now as I cross into my Mastery in July, Grand Master Norris won't be there physically, but his spirit will always be with us. I'll continue the honor Grand Master Norris's legacy, teach in the manner that he will find appropriate, conducive and help evolve our system. I will always share how wonderful GM Chuck Norris truly was.

God bless the Norris family, especially Mrs. Norris, Dani & Dakota, all the Norris family. I know your hearts are heavy and I love you. To my UFAF family, stay strong, let us all mourn together at this time and continue to make Grand Master proud of each and every black belt, student and friend.

It's my honor to present to you our newest UMAD & UFAF Blackbelts!!🥋 🥋 🥋 🥋 🥋

We had our Black Belt Extravaganza & enjoyed presentations from each candidate, as well as performances from supporters. Each candidate was also asked to put into a few words of what UMAD means to them & how martial arts has benefited their life. It brought me to tears with the sincerity of these young people's feelings. ❤️ 🎉

I truly thank their parents and support group for being in attendance, motivating their children & not giving up on their successes even as times got hard 🤗

This promotion can be once in a lifetime, up there with graduating from school, getting married, or any other major milestone. Their dedication speaks volumes of their character, we look forward to watching them grow more through rank and skill. ⭐

Thank you Mrs. Pam/Mom for my special recognition going into my Mastery this year. I truly appreciate you for all your support and everything you do behind the scenes, you do much more than you realize! To God be the Glory!! 🙏🏽
