The Most Experienced Survival Swim Instructor in Knoxville, TN with over 30 years in the Industry! Teaching private, one on one survival swim lessons to infants and young children. Children learn how to swim for fun as well as to roll over to a float for a breath. They can also perform these skills fully clothed to survive if they were to fall in the water alone. The float and roll to a float is t
he most important skill to learn in Survival Swimming. Infants and toddlers can not lift their head to take a breath. If your child falls into a body of water, rolling to their backs and maintaining a float to breathe is critical to surviving. If your child can crawl, your child can learn to float! If your child can walk, your child can learn to swim float swim! Learning these critical survival skills takes time and patience. All children learn at their own pace! I teach them until they are safe. Survival skills will give your child the confidence and skills to respect the water, survive a water accident and truly learn to enjoy swimming! You will have the PEACE of mind to knowing your child has the skills to survive a water accident and can finally enjoy your time around the water as well! SKILLS first, then FUN!! ONE of the BEST things you can do for your child is to empower them by giving them these skills to enjoy the water for life! LESSONS:

Once skilled, children come to the pool once a month for a week to float or swim so they can maintain their confidence and skills. This is a motor skill and needs practice so the muscles continue to memorize the motion and the kids trust their ability to perform these skills. You never know when an accident is going to happen and the children need to be ready! We can not expect them to perform if they haven't been in the water in months. Swimming is a year round sport!
