75 DAYSšŸ‘€

Tomorrow officially marks 75 days until I get married…which feels like the perfect time to bring back a little 75 Lifted.

If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know I created 75 Lifted as my own version of a 75 day challenge! It’s focused on movement, nutrition, mindset, consistency and becoming the version of yourself you feel the best in.

If I’m being completely transparent, I have spent WAY too much of this year saying:

ā€œI’ll start Monday.ā€
ā€œI’ll get back into it next week.ā€
ā€œI still have plenty of time before the wedding.ā€

Welllllll there is officially no more ā€œplenty of timeā€šŸ˜‚ But instead of freaking myself out thinking about everything I want to accomplish before November 14th, I’m doing the opposite. I will also ALWAYS be 100% transparent about my journey. I will never skip the bumps in the road, the amount of time I’ve spent off the right path, the amount of weight gained, or where my headspace is at, good or bad. I’ve had a child, I’ve been obese, I’ve worked my ass off to lose the weight, and I’ve also gained weight back. I’ve been in your shoesšŸ–¤

One day at a time is my mottoā€¼ļøā€¼ļøā€¼ļø

I’m not trying to be perfect for 75 days. I’m not starting over because I have a bad day. I’m not trying to completely overhaul my life overnight. I just want to see what happens when I actually show up for myself consistently for the next 75 days. Lift. Move my body. Eat foods that make me feel good. Prioritize protein. Drink my water. Take care of myself. Get back into a routine, and most importantly, keep going even when the motivation isn’t there.

I want to walk into my wedding feeling strong, confident and like ME againšŸ’…

Sooooo…75 days until I become Mrs. Bowman = 75 days of LiftedšŸ’š

I’m taking pictures tomorrow, documenting the whole thing, and we’ll see just how much can change in 75 days. The official day 1 starts tomorrow, but technically I started today because I had no clue it was 75 days until the big dayšŸ˜‚

Let’s freaking gošŸ”„

Now accepting workout program ordersā€¼ļøā€¼ļø I am putting a pause on nutrition guides until next week when I finally have the perfect formatting and set up for those🤌 I’d much rather take my time and make sure it’s perfect, than put something together in a rush and not high quality!

Workout programs can be made for in home, at the gym, or anywhere you want to gošŸ’Ŗ I make it 100% custom to you, your goals, experience level, availability, and so much more. I also have created workout trackers so you can see how your progress is improving over the course of the programšŸ–¤

Comment down below or message me if you’re interested. There’s still plenty of time left in the year to reach your goals!!! Personally, I started back over today after being on and off for pretty much the entire year. You won’t be in this alonešŸ‘

Please share if you’re cool

Programs are DONE and excel trackers are being edited and sent outšŸ‘ I am creating my first meal guide tonight and I cannot wait to see the final product and see what the recipient thinks of it!

Monday I will start taking inquiries for workout programs and meal guides! Now that I have all of my formatting done, I can crank these out a lot quickeršŸ–¤

Talking to your children about the importance of eating healthy and exercising makes a far bigger impact than you think.

As a coach and a mom, I always make sure to talk about protein, how muscles are built, how quality of life can be improved by taking care of yourself, eating healthy, and so on. Just within the first week of school Jaxy has drawn two self portraits where he included his muscles (or as he wrote, ā€œmoslā€)šŸ˜‚šŸ–¤. I had no clue how much these talks with Jax has truly stuck with him, but it makes me so happy that it has become apart of how he views himself. Not only is he learning life lasting healthy habits, he’s also forming a sense of self confidence and positive body image.

I catch him saying things like, ā€œMommy can I have this snack, it’s healthy?ā€ ā€œMommy I want to take healthy snacks to school.ā€ ā€œMommy I want big muscles like daddy.ā€ ā€œMommy I love protein, it makes me strong.ā€ Even our trips to Casey’s involve Jax getting a protein shake and a built protein bar, and of course Slim Jim’s. Most other kiddos, and adults as well, typically gravitate towards the chips, candy, sodas, ect.

Teaching your children early on how to fuel their bodies properly and how important it is to exercise and remain active will prolong their lives, and significantly improve their overall quality of life. The earlier you start, the better off you are!

Tired of walking into the gym and having no freaking clue what to do? šŸ‘€ Or maybe you’re showing up for your workouts, but nutrition is still the part you’re constantly second guessing. You do not need full coaching to start making progress! Sometimes you just need someone to give you a freaking PLAN.

After this weekend, I’m opening a limited number of spots for my next round of custom workout programs, personalized nutrition guides, and workout + nutrition bundlesšŸ”„

Everything is built specifically for you, your goals, your schedule, your experience, your equipment, and the foods you actually like. Your workout program gives you exactly what to do in the gym plus a progress tracker, and your nutrition guide gives you your targets, different options for each macro, and the tools to actually put meals together without following some miserable cookie-cutter meal plan.

And if you need help with both, you can bundle your workout program + nutrition guide together and savešŸ‘€

No monthly coaching. No long-term commitment. No guessing what you’re supposed to be doing. Just a plan, your goals, and a place to start!

Spots open after this weekend, message me or comment ā€œREADYā€ if you want first dibsšŸ’ŖšŸ¼

STOP GUESSING. START PROGRESSING.

Hello happy Friday!! All programs/meal plans that have been paid will be completed this weekend!

If you inquired about a program please send payment so I can get those done for youšŸ„°šŸ’Ŗ

Now, don’t forget about your goals this weekend! On the weekends we are out of our routine and it is sooooo easy to fall off track and go overboard, then we spend the entire next week trying to work that off. It is a never ending cycle that most people are stuck in. Weekends are just as important as week days when it comes to our health and fitness goals, and balance is keyšŸ–¤

DAY 3/Day 4-ish šŸ˜‚ FAST COMPLETE āœ…

I hit my 72-hour goal last night, but I knew I didn’t want to break my fast at almost 10 PM and then immediately go to sleep. So I waited until this morning and officially ended at 80 hours and 39 minutesšŸ”„

And I’m not gonna lie, Day 3 kicked my ass this time. The first time I did a 3-day fast, Day 3 honestly didn’t feel much different than Days 1 or 2. I wasn’t noticeably more hungry, exhausted, or miserable. Yesterday? Completely different experience.

I was SO tired. I had a headache for most of the day, had basically no energy, and genuinely did not want to get off the couch. Thankfully it was a work-from-home day because outside of working, taking Jax to daycare, grabbing some veggies from the garden, making dinner for the boys, and playing with our new juicer…I accomplished approximately ✨nothing✨ šŸ˜‚

And I’m okay with that.

I’m actually really curious why this round felt so different. Was it because I didn’t sleep well during this fast? Stress from all the wedding planning this week? Was my body possibly fighting off whatever Jesse and Jax have had? What I ate before starting? A combination of everything?

Probably impossible to know for sure, but it was a really good reminder that just because your body handled something one way before does not mean it’s going to respond exactly the same way every time.

The biggest difference I noticed this time was my sleep. I did not get enough of it. The Zero app really emphasizes hydration, sleep and light activity during a fast, and I definitely think the lack of sleep caught up with me.

This morning I woke up, weighed myself, and saw my lowest number in a few monthsšŸ™Œ I lost somewhere around 8–9 lbs over this fasting cycle, BUT I want to be very clear: I do not expect all of that to stay off. A lot of short-term scale change during fasting can be water, glycogen and digestive contents, so I fully expect some of that number to come back up as I eat and hydrate normally again. The scale wasn’t the biggest lesson from this one anyway.

When I woke up this morning, I felt like I might pass out. That was my sign that I was DONE donešŸ˜‚ I immediately ate my raspberry Greek yogurt with chia seeds, gave that a little time, and then had two of my homemade egg muffins with the Panera bagel I saved from work and some avocado. I had planned three egg muffins, but my stomach said absolutely notšŸ˜‚ so I listened.

Today is all about recovery and fueling my body. Lunch will probably be chicken, rice, cucumber and tzatziki, and dinner will most likely be a salmon bowl because I made one recently and remembered how much I freaking LOVE them.

As far as doing another 72-hour fast next month? I honestly don’t know yet. After how I felt yesterday, I have to think about whether that makes sense for my life. I have a family. I have work. I have responsibilities. I cannot regularly dedicate an entire day to being glued to the couch because I have zero energyšŸ˜‚ Maybe next month I stop earlier. Maybe I still do 72. Maybe I don’t do one at all. We’ll see.

That’s another thing I’m learning through all of this: the goal isn’t proving how long I can go. The goal is learning my body.

FUN FASTING FACT: ā€œBy around the 72-hour mark, your body has made a pretty major metabolic shift. Stored glycogen is significantly reduced, fat breakdown is increased, and your liver is producing much more ketones to use as an alternative fuel source. By this point, your brain is also using more ketones for energy instead of relying as heavily on glucose.ā€

That is one of the things I find so interesting about fasting, it isn’t just about watching the number on the scale move. There are actual metabolic changes happening behind the scenes, and learning how my body responds to those changes has been one of my favorite parts of experimenting with it. This round definitely wasn’t as easy as my first one, but I still learned A LOT.

I learned how much sleep matters for me.
I learned that two fasts can feel completely different.
I learned that I don’t need to force myself to hit a certain number just because I’ve done it before.
And once again, I learned a lot about the difference between actual hunger, habits, cravings and my brain simply wanting stimulation.

So even though Day 3 humbled the absolute s**t out of me, I’m still glad I did it.

80 HOURS & 39 MINUTES COMPLETEšŸ”„

Now it’s time to refuel, get some good food back into my body, prioritize sleep, hydrate, and see how I feel over the next few days.

And I honestly still don’t know what next month will look like. Maybe another 72. Maybe shorter. I’m going to decide based on how I’m feeling instead of deciding right now that I have to do the exact same thing again. That’s kind of the whole point of experimenting with this for me, paying attention, learning, and adjusting.

***Disclaimer: This is simply me documenting my own experience with fasting and what I’m learning along the way. I’m not recommending prolonged fasting for everyone. Individual responses can vary, and anyone considering an extended fast, especially someone with medical conditions, taking medications, pregnant/breastfeeding, or with a history of disordered eating, should talk with a qualified healthcare professional first***

šŸ‘€Okay, I’m adding something NEW, again!

After the response I’ve gotten from my custom workout programs, I started thinking about other ways I can still help people without going back into full coaching, so I’m officially adding Custom Nutrition Guides!šŸ„—

These are for anyone who wants help with their nutrition but doesn’t necessarily need weekly coaching or a strict meal plan telling them exactly what to eat every day. I want you to actually understand what to eat, how much you need, how to build your meals, and how to make it work with foods YOU actually enjoy.

Here are the optionsšŸ‘Œ

šŸ„—CUSTOM NUTRITION GUIDE — $60
This will be completely personalized to you based on a questionnaire about your goals, lifestyle, activity level, food preferences, schedule, budget, etc.

Your guide will include:
• Your personalized calorie & protein targets
• Macro guidance when appropriate
• Your specific goals & focus areas
• How to build a balanced meal
• Protein, carb & healthy fat options + serving guidance
• Breakfast, lunch, dinner & snack ideas
• Personalized grocery guide
• Eating out/fast food tips & swaps
• Hydration goal
• A sample full day of eating
• Nutrition/progress tracking tools

This is NOT a 4 or 6 week program. It’s a guide that is yours to keep and continue using for as long as it works for you!

šŸ“CUSTOM NUTRITION GUIDE + PERSONALIZED MEAL BANK — $85
You’ll receive everything listed above PLUS:
• 10 breakfast ideas
• 10 lunch ideas
• 10 dinner ideas
• 10 snack ideas
• Simple recipes based on foods YOU actually like
• Calories/protein included with meal ideas when applicable

That gives you 40+ meal and snack options that you can mix and match instead of following some boring Monday-Sunday meal plan over and over again.

šŸ”„WORKOUT + NUTRITION BUNDLE — STARTING AT $100
Want both? Well you got it!! This is subject to how many workout phases you want. I will give a discount for each level! For example, the 6 week program is normally $60, as well as the nutrition guide, so you’re saving $20 by bundlingšŸ‘

You’ll receive:
• One personalized 6-week workout program (or the 12 or 18 week programs)
• Your Custom Nutrition Guide (meal bank not included!)

No monthly payment.
No weekly check-ins.
No long-term commitment.
You purchase your personalized program and it’s yours to keep!

I’m really excited about this because I know there are SO many people who don’t necessarily want full coaching, they just need some freaking directionšŸ˜‚ Tell me what to focus on. Give me ideas of what to eat. Give me workouts to follow. Give me the tools and LET ME GO.

That’s exactly what I want these programs to bešŸ–¤

I’ll only be taking a certain number at a time so I can make sure each one is actually personalized and I don’t completely overwhelm myselfšŸ˜‚

If you’re interested in a nutrition guide, meal bank, workout program OR a bundle, send me a message or comment below ! I’ll be starting my listšŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ„—
