It's promotion week

Last Thursday we had 28 karateka (kids from 4 years old to adults) test for their next kyu belt ranking...

We could not be proud of the dedication, the focus, the perseverance, the self-control, the discipline, and the confidence that the students have!

Today and tomorrow, we are proud to hand the students their new rank.
I do not give rank, they earn rank! I just hand it to them.

Parents summer camp is a great way for students to increase their karate knowledge! It is only 2 hours away from Auburn! You can make it a day trip or stay with the whole weekend..

MAY 15TH AND 16TH 2026 AT LAKEPPOINT RESORT IN EUFAULA, AL

ONLY KARATE STUDENTS PAY FOR SUMMER CAMP – PARENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE ACTIVITIES YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN.
LUNCH IS PROVIDED FOR EVERYONE

We would like to encourage all Instructors, black belts, kyu belt students and families to participate and make this the best summer camp ever.

There will be activities for non-karate students to participate in on Saturday.

There will be a schedule on the website at wykko.com for a list of the classes available. We will have copies at summer camp.

Black Belt testing will be Friday May 15th at 5:00 p.m. in the main conference room at Lakepoint Resort in Eufaula, AL. There will be a Black Belt work-out while testing is going on for those who are not assisting with the testing.

Saturday afternoon we will have showmanship for each dojo to participate in. There can be more than one team from each dojo. This will be a three-person team for breaking or self-defense or weapons or
katas or made-up musical. Use your imagination. Please make plans to participate. We are going to have a video on the website under events that will help you to organize and set up your teams. The video is thanks to Mr. Cruz and his students.

Attending the camps will help strengthen students in their training and on their Black Belts testing’s when they are ready for the next step.


We hope to see everyone this year and make it the best summer camp ever.

Auburn karateka: Summer camp is only 2 hours from Auburn (May 15th and 16th in Eufaula Alabama)! This is a perfect opportunity to learn new Kata, hone in on fighting skills, and more!

We are so excited to see everyone at the 45th annual Winter Camp at Pensacola beach!

There will be many great workout and learning sessions this year including open hand katas, weapons, self-defense, sparring, and board breaking!

Make sure to bring all your weapons, sparring gear and boards that you want to break!

We had a great testing and many students ranked up!

Like true Ms Natalie and Auburn karate fashion, I did not get many pictures. But I got a few thanks to some wonderful parents. Here are a few of the kids that ranked up, but not all of them by a long shot.
