FREE Concert celebrating the music of the GRATEFUL DEAD on September 12!

The Festival is located at ARD’s Regional Park in North Auburn CA, not far off of Interstate 80. This location features a wonderful natural grass amphitheater that allows for plenty of room to stretch out and also dance. There are TWO STAGES: a Main Stage that features a variety of music, and a little more intimate “Home Grown Stage” that features some incredible local talent. ARD Staff has collected a great group of FOOD AND CRAFT VENDORS that sit atop the amphitheater – where one can find everything from Tacos to Hand Dipped Ice Cream! Crafts vary and are a ton of fun – you also can run into booths highlighting other fun in the community!

CRAFT B**R is a big part of the Fest, as not only do we have some great products to enjoy, the Brewers provide the b**r to us allowing for this event to exist! A big Thanks to 1849 Brewing and Boochcraft.

Don’t Forget the GIANT KID ZONE – truly a highlight for kids of all ages!! Parents can sit on the hill and enjoy the music, while the kids can play and have fun in the Kid Zone!!

Search efforts for 24-year-old Ian Roberts resumed at 7 a.m. this morning, with approximately 100 search and rescue personnel from multiple agencies working throughout the American River Canyon.

Participating agencies include Placer County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue, Marin County Search and Rescue, El Dorado County Search and Rescue, Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, Sacramento County Search and Rescue, East Bay Regional Park District Police Department, California State Parks and Auburn Recreation Districts. Several K9 teams are also assisting with the search.

Members of the Placer County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit are searching along the banks of the American River. Falcon 30 is assisting from the air and helping transport searchers into and out of the field. Drone teams are also providing aerial support.

The Sheriff’s Office has requested assistance from Cal OES through the use of FIRIS to provide additional aerial intelligence and support search efforts.

Investigators believe Ian parked at Overlook Park before hiking down into the American River Canyon area on Friday August 21st. Search efforts have been primarily focused in this area.

We extend our deepest thanks to all of the highly trained search and rescue personnel and volunteers who continue to dedicate their time and expertise effort to these search operations.
