Help me in wishing LPCS rising senior Zander Ritenour luck tonight as he races with some of the nation’s best distance runners in the championship heat of the Boys 5K at New Balance Nationals in Philadelphia tonight!!!

Zander will race at approximately 6:20pm and the event can be live-streamed for free via the website below.

Great turnout this morning for our first day of Summer Running Club! It was great to see some new faces along with the old ones. Some returning runners are still on their break from the end of track season, but will be joining us soon. Looking forward to a great summer and a great fall season!

Zander Ritenour is an incredible athlete, but this is what makes him truly special.

This picture was taken last night before the 3200 at State, the biggest race of many of these athletes’ lives. As he often does, Zander offered an opportunity for all of the competitors to pray before the race, making sure that the focus stays on God. What resulted was almost every athlete coming to a prayer circle on the biggest stage in the state.

Our guy did this. This is what being a Christian athlete is all about… way to go, Z!!

After two weather delays, the 3200 finally got started around 10:30 last night. LPCS junior Zander Ritenour ran an incredibly strategic race to capture 3rd place behind two national champions in Noah Bontrager and Calvin Seitz.

Zander finished with an amazing time of 8:58.65, his first time running under 9:00. What a race!!!

Time to celebrate our awesome relay girls! 🔥

Whether it was the 4x100 or 4x400, we could put any combination of 4 of these 6 out there and know they were going to be competitive and score big points for our team. They trusted each other and pushed each other all season.

Avery Brandenberger- 11th Place in the 400m 💥

4x100 Relay (Luca Bontrager, Danica Kessel, Carigan Treesh, Avery) - 12th Place and a NEW SCHOOL RECORD for the 2nd week in a row 👏🏼

4x400 Relay (Luca, Avery, Ava Dowd, Carigan) - 13th Place 🎉

Keep in mind, track is a single class sport in Indiana, so we are competing against the biggest schools out there and there are 49 schools in our Regional.

Amazing season and great job tonight girls!!! 🙌🏼

Shout out to our Dynamic Duo throwing tandem of Gracelyn Martin and Luci Young! 💪🏼 🎉

Tonight at Sectionals they both PRd and made the finals of the shotput, with Gracelyn breaking her own school record to finish 6th and Luci beating her previous PR by over 2 feet to finish 9th!!
