It's not too late to join tonight's new Chess Kidz Workshop!!

Whether your child is a chess wizard or brand new to the game, Chess Kidz is a fun way to learn, practice, and sharpen their skills! Designed for kids in grades 3–8, this program combines hands-on instruction, creative challenges, puzzles, and plenty of gameplay in a fun and competitive environment. Led by Coach Jake and the NH Chess Club team, students will develop critical thinking, strategy, and problem-solving skills while learning the ins and outs of this classic game. Along the way, we’ll emphasize good sportsmanship, character building, and, of course, good old-fashioned fun!

Want to give chess a try? Join us tonight for the one-day Chess Kidz Workshop on Monday, September 14, from 5:00–6:00 pm at the Severance School Community Center. Register online at auburnparksandrec.com.

What a night at Auburn Night!

Friday night couldn’t have been more perfect! The weather was beautiful, the food trucks brought some amazing eats (Heaven's Kitchen, Lynnie’s Food Truck, Frosty Soft Serve Ice Cream Truck and Squeeze The Day NH), the music had everyone enjoying the evening (Sunday Ave), and the fireworks were nothing short of spectacular!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make Auburn Night such a fun and memorable night for our community. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

To kick-off the weekend of the AHA’s annual Auburn Day & Duck Race, Auburn Parks and Rec is planning “Auburn Night” on Friday night, September 11 at the Auburn Village School.

There will be food trucks starting at 6:30 pm featuring Lynnie’s Food Truck, Heaven’s Kitchen, Nice Ice Baby, Frosty Ice Cream and Squeeze the Day Lemonade. Live music will also begin at 6:30 pm with Auburn’s own “Sunday Ave”. And the grand finale of the night, fireworks, will begin at 8:30 pm.

Join us for this fun family event as we begin a weekend of gathering with friends and neighbors. In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks will be postponed. Please check our Facebook () or Instagram pages for updates.
