Registration for the 2023 BARC Cornhusker Hustle 5K is now open !!! The event will again take place at Bay City Western High School, the familiar flat and fast course will lead runners and walkers through the streets of Auburn. Not wanting to conflict with any other weekend event, this local 5K will be held on Thursday July 6th at 6PM.
Choosing to keep the different elements of this event local, timing for this challenging 5K will be the trusted talents of Miller Race Management. Also working with another local company, Sandlot Sports, we are finalizing a very fashionable and safety conscious race tank that will be revealed later this week.
As with previous BARC Cornhusker Hustle 5K’s, proceeds from this 5K will benefit the Toni & Trish House.
With a history of being one of the hottest 5K’s during the summer season, water stations will be placed out on the course to help keep participants hydrated. The 5K run/walk will start and finish in Bay City Western High School’s eastern parking lot. The high school will not be open for restroom usage, but Port-a-Johns will be provided, also please come dressed to compete.
After completing the 5K event, snacks and drinks will be provided for runners and walkers.
All participants will receive 1 free entry to the prize drawing after the 5K event, must be present to win prize.
Sign up by June 15th to be guaranteed an event tank top, after June 15th, tank top supplies will be significantly limited.
5K Run Awards:
Top Overall Male & Female, Masters Division (40 years & over) Male and Female, Grand Masters Division (60 years & older) Male and Female.
Male & Female Division awards to top 3 runners in each age division
5K Run Age Divisions:
14 & Under
15 - 19 years
20 - 29 years
30 - 39 years
40 - 49 years
50 - 59 years
60 - 69 years
70 & Above
5K Walk Awards:
Top 5 walkers in both Male & Female divisions
