What an AWESOME field trip day at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary! 🐻🐯🦊🐊🐒🦜

Our DeKalb’s Best Kids crew had an amazing time exploring and seeing so many incredible animals up close! Today we saw donkeys, pigs, lemurs, tigers, bears, foxes, wolves,an alligator, parrots, and all kinds of reptiles! 😲

Before our tour, we enjoyed a picnic lunch together in Black Pine’s beautiful picnic area. It was the perfect way to relax, eat, and get ready for all the fun ahead! 🧺🍎🥪

The kids had a blast learning about each animal, asking great questions, and making memories with their friends. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and plenty of “WOW, did you see that?!” moments all day long. ❤️

And somehow… we completely dodged the rain! 🌦️ Not a single raindrop while we were there!

We’re so thankful for a fun, safe, and exciting day with these awesome kids. Field trip days are always special, and today was definitely one to remember! 💙

☀️ What a beautiful morning to kick off another amazing week at Summer Camp! ☀️

The sunshine is out, the smiles are bright, and we are ready for a week packed with fun, adventure, and unforgettable memories!

From exciting activities and games to creative projects and plenty of laughs with friends, we have another awesome week planned for our campers. We can’t wait to see what this week brings!

DeKalb’s Best Kids is now enrolling for our 2026-2027 After School Program. We provide safe, reliable transportation from local schools, homework time, fun activities, martial arts, parkour, games, and more.

☀️ What a beautiful summer morning! ☀️

We know it’s going to be another hot day, but this morning was absolutely perfect! The cooler temperatures gave us the chance to enjoy some extra playtime outside, and the kids took full advantage of every minute of it!

A huge shoutout to our amazing Summer Camp coaches who make each day a fun-filled adventure. Their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication help create unforgettable memories for our campers every single day. We are so thankful to have them as part of the BEST team at DeKalb’s Best Kids! 💙

We also want to recognize our incredible LITs (Leaders in Training)! 🌟 These awesome young leaders grew up in our program, aged out, and chose to come back this summer to give back and be part of our team. They are fantastic role models and huge helpers during activities, and we’re so proud to have them with us!
