As it stands right now, we don’t have all the answers or even many of them. We do know that a federal Judge ruled NFA registration requirements, for suppressors, unconstitutional. We do know that at 12:01 am on August 13th, SilencerShop will be transferring two suppressors without complying with previous NFA requirements for the first time since 1934.
Currently neither the DOJ nor the ATF has appealed this ruling.

We have also learned that SBR’s and SBS’s are not covered by this injunction as all states have a requirement of some sort or another that SBR’s and SBS’s must receive “permission” and currently the only method of that is a Form 4. So, not as good as we hoped by still moving in the right direction.

As of right now, we are waiting for guidance as to how silencer sales will be legally handled moving forward
