It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of one of our Wildcat athletes, Gianna.

Gianna joined our Division 4 Monday team this past season and quickly became a valued part of our Wildcat family. From the moment she stepped into the gym, she fit right in—bringing a positive spirit, determination, and strength to the team. As one of our incredible backspots, she was someone her teammates could count on, both on and off the mat.

Our hearts are broken as we mourn this unimaginable loss. We ask our Wildcat community to keep Gianna’s family, friends, teammates, and all who loved her in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Gianna will always be remembered as a Wildcat, and her impact on our program will never be forgotten.

Fly high, Gianna. You will forever be part of our Wildcat family. 💜🐾

This weekend reminded us that winning isn’t always measured by placement, trophies, or numbers on a score sheet. True winning is found in the heart, dedication, resilience, and love these athletes pour into every practice and every performance.

Cheerleading is about so much more than rankings. It’s about the late nights, the bruises, the sacrifices, the trust built between teammates, and the courage to step on that mat and give it everything you have.

No matter where they placed this weekend, these girls walked away stronger, closer, and prouder of what they accomplished together. That alone is something no score can ever define.

To every cheerleader: your worth is not determined by a judge’s score. You are already champions because of your hard work, perseverance, and heart. Keep shining, keep believing, and keep showing the world what true teamwork and passion look like. ❤️📣
