🌧️⛈️ Agility Trial Update – This Weekend! 🐾🐾

Due to the recent rain, we’ve had to move this weekend’s agility trial from one arena to the other and will now be running in the Zanee Arena.
With the venue change, the courses needed to be redesigned to fit the new space. We are incredibly grateful to Ashley Deacon for stepping in and helping us redesign the courses on short notice. A huge thank you as well to Gracie Huffman, who is still designing our exciting Master Series courses!
We feel very fortunate to be able to host this trial despite the weather challenges, and we appreciate everyone's flexibility and support. We’re looking forward to a fun weekend of great runs, great dogs, and great company.

Ready for another great UKI weekend on the grass? 🌿

We’re excited to welcome Judge Margarette Hughes, with courses designed by Gracie Huffman.

Registration is OPEN for the Zanee True Colors Classic! 🎨🌈🐾

We are so excited for this fun rainbow-themed Zanee UKI weekend at Run Wild Dog Sports!

Along with great agility, we have so many amazing prizes planned, including epoxy rainbow cups, rainbow plushies, treats, and more fun surprises throughout the event.

We are also doing a rainbow rock hunt during the weekend for additional prizes, so keep your eyes open around the event grounds! 🌈

And don’t forget about the True Colors Paw-ty on Saturday, July 11 starting at 4:30 PM at the Run Wild Dog Sports Outdoor Competition Field. Stick around after the trial day for food, friends, snacks, and a fun agility final to watch.

This is going to be such a fun weekend of agility, community, color, and celebration.

We are excited to kick off June’s Run Wild Agility Coaching Series: Connection Month with a full day of workshops focused on helping teams build better timing, engagement, clarity, and confidence on course.

We are also thrilled to welcome guest instructor JuliAnna Munden, who will be teaching two of the workshops!

🐾 Engagement From Start to Finish
8:00am–10:30am | Ring Two
Instructor: Brenna Peterson
Build engagement before, during, and after the run so your team feels more connected and ring-ready.

🐾 Handler Timing for Better Connection
9:00am–11:30am | Ring One
Instructor: JuliAnna Munden
Learn how the timing of your movement, cues, and connection points affects your dog’s line and confidence.

🐾 Connecting in Coursework: UKI Masters
12:00pm–2:30pm | Ring One
Instructor: JuliAnna Munden
Work on maintaining connection through advanced UKI-style coursework, including technical transitions, backsides, threadles, discriminations, and fast lines into tighter handling moments.

🐾 Connecting in Coursework: Novice
12:00pm–2:30pm | Ring Two
Instructor: Hana Spitz
Help novice teams build confidence and connection through short sequences and coursework with clear communication and smoother teamwork.

Whether you are working on engagement, timing, novice coursework, or advanced UKI challenges, this is a great opportunity to build stronger connection with your dog and learn from the Run Wild instructor team.

Our June Zanee UKI Trial is coming up June 6–7, and we are so excited to get teams out on this beautiful outdoor field with huge 100 x 130 grass rings.

This is a fantastic opportunity to let your dog open up, get comfortable in a big outdoor ring, and use the weekend as valuable prep for West Coast Open this fall.

Courses will be designed by Gracie Huffman and judged by Margaret Hughes, and we can’t wait for a weekend of fun, flowing agility on grass.

Big rings. Beautiful field. Great courses. Perfect prep.

The Zanee Unicorn Cup kicks off today at Run Wild Arena and runs through May 24.
