This slogan can hold so many people back from starting their fitness journey. It can promote a very unrealistic expectation of change overnight. This can lead to disappointment, failure or to never starting at all.

Your fitness journey should be just that, a journey. A life style. Set goals and have expectations for yourself. Understand there is going to be bumps along the way. This is a self journey about continuous growth and development. This journey can be hard and lonely. Find a gym/community that can and will support YOU in your journey. The gym must meet YOU where you are at in your journey. The coaches must be able to relate to your needs and to provide you all the necessary tools to overcome the fears of failure and disappointment. It should be about progression. We want to congratulate Coach Aidan on his graduation from the National Personal Training Institute(NPTI). Aidans work ethic and dedication to becoming a personal trainer at age 19 says a lot about his maturity and passion for his career. While Aidan will be majoring in business while playing basketball at University Of Michigan Dearborn you will see him from time to time at the gym training his clients as well as shadowing us to start his journey of becoming a HyFit coach.
