"Austin, congratulations on winning your first championship title. It's truly surreal. You proved that you're just as dangerous and just as skilled as the other champions in your division.

Coach Felix, I'm so proud of you, man. The beast you have become-and are still turning into-is insane. It takes so much to go out there, truly empty your gas tank, and still not buckle. You truly have the heart of a lion.

Coach Billy, win or lose today, you more than proved you can still hang with these young fighters, showing that your work ethic outshines their youth. Not many people realize how truly difficult it is to coach and fight on the same day and do both as efficiently as you did. 

I'm proud to be a part of this team. This is just a stepping stone for our gym."

Atwater’s own wins regional Muay Thai championship! Franco Taylor in his 6th amateur bout comes out a winner! In a sport that is often associated with being only about violence and aggression, Franco added to that, intelligence, composure, resilience and humility. As a martial arts academy, we value strength of character over any result, but when the two meet in one moment, it shows the beauty of hard work and discipline that can be cultivated through the process of training in a martial art. As we continue to develop as fighter’s, coaches, students and people, we pay homage to those who came before us, our coaches our teachers, the ones who gave us a platform to build upon. Thank you to all of our coaches, teammates, students and families for the support. When the arena is empty, the only thing left are those who were there with us, before, during, and after the game ends.

Debut fight for our guy . We had a tough fight against a strong opponent from a very good gym and didn’t make it to the final bell. We’re very proud regardless of the outcome. We have a lot to learn and are grateful to be able to develop ourselves through Muay Thai. Thank you to for being in the corner. To all of the Modern Warrior teammates who came out to support. Congratulations to our team .ac . Austin, Franco, and Felix all had competitive fights with great opponents from strong Muay Thai gyms. Our team finished the night 3-0 with excellent performances. Nothing but respect to our opponents and their teams 🙏. Thank you to Chris Fields and the IKF for the opportunity to compete. Special thanks to our students and families who spent their time and money to come support the team, it takes a village. We are blessed to be able to utilize the sport of Muay Thai as a vehicle to discover our potential. Always a student 🧑‍🎓
