🎾 Congratulations to our 2026 Paul Perry Attleboro Open Singles Champions! 🎾

It was a great few days of tennis as we wrapped up the Singles Division of this year’s tournament!

Behind every safe day at the pool is a team that’s constantly training.

Last week, our lifeguards participated in in-service training at our city pools, sharpening the skills they rely on every day to keep our swimmers safe.

These sessions go far beyond swimming, they include emergency response, water rescues, CPR refreshers, spinal injury management, teamwork, communication, and realistic rescue scenarios.

In-service training is an essential part of being a lifeguard. It helps our team stay prepared, build confidence, and practice responding quickly and effectively should an emergency ever arise.

We’re proud of the dedication and professionalism our lifeguards show, not just during pool hours, but through the ongoing training and commitment that happens behind the scenes.

A big thank you to our entire aquatics team for your hard work and for making safety your top priority every single day! 🏊‍♀️🛟💙

🌧️ Pool Closure Notice 🌧️
Due to today’s incoming weather, all Attleboro Recreation pools will be closed today, Monday August 3rd.

The safety of our patrons and staff is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you tomorrow, which is the forecasted "pick of the week" day!

🏓 The Monster Smash is back! 🏓

Join us for the 3rd Annual Attleboro Pickleball Monster Smash Tournament on September 19 & 20 at the Paul Perry Tennis Complex at Finberg Field!

Whether you’re playing to win or just looking for a fun weekend of competition, this tournament is a great way to support an incredible cause.

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will help provide meals for children attending the Attleboro Recreation Department’s After School Program. ❤️

✅ Registration Fee: $50 beginning August 17

🌧️ Pool Update – 10:00 AM 🌧️

As of 10:00 AM, all Attleboro Recreation pools will remain closed today, July 30th, due to the weather.

We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day. If the weather improves and we are able to have a delayed opening, we will post an update here on our social media pages.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’re hoping for a break in the weather and will keep everyone informed!

Yesterday, our Summer Program campers had the opportunity to explore two of Attleboro’s gems!

Our Walking School Bus took the group on an adventure to the Attleboro Public Library Library and the Attleboro Area Industrial Museum where campers enjoyed learning, exploring, and discovering more about our community.

A huge thank you to both organizations for welcoming our campers and providing such engaging experiences. We are fortunate to have incredible community partners who help make summer in Attleboro memorable!
