The secret is out.
As humans we wayyyyyyy over complicate things.
We think if it looks flashy - we need it.
If it promises a quick fix then it’s for us.
Ask yourself why you keep falling into the trap.
It’s like a hamster wheel you will never get off.
The same goes with fitness, mindset, mental health……. You name it.
There is no 💊, 30 day quick fix, drinkable concoction, fitness routine or perfect prescription.
These things may aid in making steps towards said goal.
But in reality, it’s just another NEW thing to try.
Because, sorry to burst your 🫧 here.
What really works is BORING!
One thing that is crucial to creating success in any area of your life is CONSISTENCY. 🔊
I know, I know, you hear this all of the time.
But this is why quick fixes and pills ultimately fail because it does not create any consistency.
“You can do anything for just 30 days”
So that’s the end goal. Get to the 30 days and you are DONE.
This VERY rarely leads to long term commitment or change.
But, it creates in our mind the feeling of quick success if we just stick to it.
👏To make it easy, let’s start small.
I dare you to create a DAILY MINDSET RITUAL✨
This can be:
Journaling
Positive affirmations
Meditation
A walk
A swim
Listening to a podcast
Working towards learning something new
Reading
Now make it non-negotiable for just 5-10 minutes a day.
Try to keep it at the same time each day. Right when you wake up, during your lunch break, before you go to bed or whenever works for you.
COMMIT, don’t just attach an arbitrary number to it COMMIT, for the foreseeable future.
After a few days you may start looking forward to that time.
After a few more days you may even increase the amount of time.
You are making MINDSET MOVES and creating habits for yourself that will add up over time.
THIS IS NOT GLAMOROUS but it’s not complicated. I am willing to bet you will change.
