Wow! What a fantastic night! ☀️🌲🔫

The weather was absolutely perfect, and we had an incredible turnout of women for our Women’s Shotgun Group Sporting Clays evening! There is nothing better than when we can all get together, share some hands-on coaching, and just have a whole lot of fun with our shotguns.

We have so many people to thank for making tonight such a success:

❤️ Our Coaches: A huge thank you to Debbie Uren Lawrence Urbaniak Bobi Jablinskey, and Jennifer Duthler Schoenherr for stepping up to coach, guide, and support the women who showed up. Your expertise and patience are so appreciated! ❤️ Our Mentors: Thank you to the women who are already familiar with their shotguns and the shooting sports. We loved seeing you step up to demonstrate proper techniques, gun safety, and safe handling. Your willingness to teach is what makes our community so strong! ❤️ Our Brave Newbies: To the women who were brave enough to come out tonight, try something brand new, and learn from those who have walked this path before—THANK YOU! It takes courage to take that first step, and you all did amazing.

To our newbies: we hope you had a blast, and we can’t wait to see you back out here to keep trying and growing your skills!

To our experienced shooters: we hope you continue to serve our community by coming out, sharing your passion, and bringing others along.

Celebrating the generosity of the Lapeer County Sportsman's Club (LCSC)!

At our general membership meeting on Wednesday, June 3, a beautiful banner was presented to LCSC in appreciation of our giving to the BEAC high schools. We are incredibly thankful for the ongoing generosity the club shows every year at this shoot.

Celebrating four outstanding scholarship winners from the Lapeer Sportsman’s Club! 🎓✨

On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at our general membership meeting, we proudly awarded four scholarships to:

• Josiah Ostrander • Olivia Kaake • Evelyn Rippetoe • Emerson Bozdik

Each recipient was nominated by club members, and we have some truly awesome grandparents out there—we were honored that all four students were sponsored by their grandparents!

We wish them continued success in their college journeys and beyond. Congratulations to all four — your hard work and dedication inspire us all!
