The Open Division is here!

If some of these riders look familiar, you’re not imagining things! Many of them spent the day making run after run, and when it came time for the Open Division, they were still bringing the heat.

The Open Division showcased some incredible horse-and-rider teams, fast times, tough competition, and plenty of exciting moments in the arena. It’s always impressive to watch competitors come back and give it their all, and this group definitely did not disappoint.

The Youth Division!

The competition stepped up a notch as our talented youth riders entered the arena, showcasing their hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport. From powerful runs to impressive horsemanship, these competitors brought their best and made every second count!

It was a pleasure capturing these moments and the determination that each rider and horse displayed throughout the event. The future of our sport is looking bright with young athletes like these leading the way.

We’re kicking things off with our P*ewee riders, and let me tell you—they brought the energy, determination, and some incredible runs to the arena!

These young riders gave it their all, and Tyler was lucky enough to capture some of those special moments. From big smiles to fast turns and unforgettable memories, there’s a lot to celebrate!

Thank you all who helped make yesterday's barrel races at Neversink Farm such a fun success! Our goal is to offer a venue and event that is needed in our area. While Chincoteague is known for horses there are few opportunities to really interact with them-- we are working to offer this to those who are fortunate to live in the area as well as visitors through our arena events.

Congratulations to Cailee Shubert for envisioning, planning and organizing the event!

Thank you to our amazing amazing farm family for coming out to help! Heather, Carolyn, Dawn & Mike, Christina, Carol, Martha for all of the preparation and event help! We couldn't do this without you guys!

We thank and congratulate the participants and winners! We saw some amazing fast rides and the P*e Wees stole our hearts!

We thank the Chincoteague mare The World Famous Molly B! She rode all 3 P*e Wees and then ran in her first race later and did a great job! Way to go Molly! We love that little red head!

We are also thankful for perfect weather for the event!

At Neversink Farm today...it's a bit like Christmas with the anticipation of our first Barrel Race today!

Cailee Shubert and the team has been working hard to have everything prepared! The farm looks great!

Everyone is so excited and we can't wait to see everyone come and enjoy an outdoors equestrian event right here in the Chincoteague/Atlantic area!

Practice starts at 10. The event at noon. Public welcome! Bring a chair. Good and beverages available.
