Hit City Softball

Hit City Softball Hit City is a select group of girls from Southwest Iowa that compete in tournaments across multiple states. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

The teams are made up of hard working and dedicated young boys and girls.

🥎On Deck with Hit City #2: Let's talk tryouts 🥎

Q: Do current players have to try out?
A: Yes. Every player interested in playing for Hit City Softball for the Fall of 2026 and Spring 2027 season must register and attend tryouts.

Every season is a new season. Tryouts help us evaluate players, form teams, and make sure we have the best fit for each roster moving forward.

Q: What if I can't make tryouts?
A: We understand vacations, school activities, and other commitments happen. If your player is unable to attend, please email us before tryouts.

A few important reminders:
✅Registration is required for all players (current and new)
✅Current players are not automatically placed on a roster
✅If you cannot attend tryouts, communication ahead of time is required

🥎On Deck with Hit City #1: Can my daughter play school ball and Hit City?

Absolutely.

At Hit City, we believe travel softball should support school softball, not replace it.

Our players represent more than 10 different schools across Southwest Iowa, and we love watching them compete for their hometown teams. School ball creates community pride, lifelong friendships, and memories that can't be replicated.

Our role is to provide additional opportunities for development, competition, and growth. We want athletes to become better players, better teammates, and more confident competitors, and take those skills back to their school programs.

CHAMPIONS 🏆💛💚

After some tough weekends and a lot of hard work, the 10U Hit City girls battled their way to a Stars & Strikes Tournament Championship today!

This group never stopped showing up, supporting each other, and putting in the work. Watching them bounce back, compete with confidence, and celebrate together made this one extra special. So proud of these girls, their growth, and their grit.
