Amerikick International Karate Championships Hall of Fame
Honoring: Mr. Jeffery Doss
Dear Mr. Doss,
It is with great honor, admiration, and respect that we formally invite you to become a member of the 2026 Amerikick International Karate Championships Hall of Fame.
For more than 38 years, you have exemplified excellence, dedication, and leadership within the sport martial arts community. As a world-class competitor, coach, promoter, school owner, and ambassador for the martial arts, your impact has been felt throughout North America and around the world. You are an Amerikick Internationals Grand champion, winning multiple Amerikick titles over the past 20 years.
Your competitive accomplishments place you among the most decorated athletes in sport martial arts history. As a 45-Time World Champion, you have achieved success across multiple organizations, including NASKA, NBL, AAU, WKU, WKA, ISKA, PKC, and Otomix. Your historic victory at the 1999 U.S. Open Grand Championship, televised nationally on ESPN2, remains one of the defining moments of an extraordinary career.
Beyond your championship titles, you played a pivotal role in helping bring Korean Forms competition to prominence within NASKA and were instrumental in promoting and encouraging the growth of the Korean Challenge divisions. Your influence helped shape an entire generation of competitors and expanded opportunities for athletes across the sport.
Known as one of the great kickers in sport martial arts history, you have consistently set the standard for technical excellence and innovation. Your accomplishments include holding National Black Belt League Super Grands records for Overall Grand Championships, Men's Korean Forms Titles, and Adult Musical Forms Titles. You are also the only competitor to have competed on the prestigious ISKA U.S. Open stage during your teens, twenties, thirties, and forties, demonstrating remarkable longevity and commitment to excellence.
As the owner of Grand Slam Martial Arts in Rustburg, Virginia, your legacy extends far beyond your personal achievements. Through your coaching and mentorship, you have developed elite athletes from across North America and guided more than 50 students to over 50 international championship titles. Your commitment to developing future champions has elevated the sport and inspired countless martial artists.
Your leadership has also been evident through your service as a team member and coach for some of the most successful organizations in martial arts, including Team Elite/CJB, Team Hayabusa, Team Revolution, and the Adidas Traditional Taekwondo National Forms Team. In addition, your work as promoter of the Grand Slam Open Nationals established one of the most innovative and respected tournaments in sport karate, helping to advance the tournament experience for competitors and spectators alike.
Whether through competition, coaching, promotion, media, or mentorship, you have dedicated your life to the growth and advancement of martial arts. Your passion, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have earned the admiration of your peers and the respect of generations of athletes.
It is only fitting that your remarkable contributions be recognized by your induction into the Amerikick International Karate Championships Hall of Fame.
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Amerikick International Superstar Finals in Atlantic City, New Jersey, we will proudly induct you into the Hall of Fame, where you will join an elite group of champions, coaches, promoters, innovators, and leaders whose contributions have helped shape the history of sport martial arts.
Congratulations on this well-deserved honor. We look forward to celebrating your extraordinary career and lasting legacy.
With Great Respect,
Bob Leiker, Mark Russo, and the Amerikick Team
