Awesome to see the DMV United initiative launch & so many organizations unite to support the community in these challenging times. Stay safe friends. 👏

Over 100,000 DMV soccer players, coaches, clubs and the leaders who guide them UNITE in a commitment to support our communities during the spread of the COVID virus. Together, we pledge to stay off public fields, keep social distance and pause programming until it is safe to return. Additionally, as non-profit organizations, our clubs are United to support each other during this difficult time. We are sharing best practices in club management, remote training development and creative education tools for players and coaches. We stand ready to deliver impactful programming the moment it is safe for our DMV community to return to play.

The tournament is set to be the largest-ever Futsal event in the DMV and will feature U9-U19 youth divisions AND Adult Pro men’s & women’s divisions.⠀

DC HYPER Futsal representing the DMV & United States at the United Futsal World Futsal Cup in Blanes, Spain. 🏟🏐⠀

The DC Hyper 08/09 boys (Alevin) team kicked off the tournament with a huge 2-1 win over FC Barcelona (SPA). The DC Hyper 06/07 boys (Infantil) team also saw success with a victory over Herick Pereira Futsal (BRA).

We are THRILLED to announce the launch of Alexandria Futsal PRO men's and women's teams.

“It’s an exciting milestone for ASA. Futsal has long been ingrained in the DNA of the club. Alexandria and the broader DMV is home to a massive pipeline of talent and ASA has an incredible base of players that have excelled in the Futsal ID program. Our aim is to cement the pathway for rising youth futsal players and establish a PRO program that competes at the highest level while positively impacting the club & community beyond the sport,” said Mark Wysocki, Alexandria Futsal PRO program lead.
